Thrown in the middle of a weekend-long session with some friends, this one was to relax things a bit. Plus, it had been a while since I’d had one- long before my rating days. Anyway, this one pours about the same as any other North American macro pale lager, clear pale gold with a lot of visible carbonation and a fairly large white head. Aroma of grain, yeast, malt, corn. Flavor is the same, but watery. Light mouthfeel, some carbonation to make it crisp. No aftertaste. Inoffensive. It’s the easiest Canadian binge drinking beer to find, so drink up, you hoser. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 6, 2009 Smells like malty hay, not displeasing at all, which you would think considering this beers market appeal. Clear, light, boring to look at, no head retention at all. The taste is a bit surprising at first but then its not too bad, malty and a bit hoppy, not too much but you can taste it there. The carbonation saves the flavour in the end. Crisp and no real aftertaste. Duhast500 (176), , Massachusetts, USA

The color is a light yellow with a small thin head and no lacing.
The smell is of strong grain and yeast, some corn flavor.
The taste is of mild pale malts with a grainy feel. Not very strong.
The feel of this beer is light. Is pretty smooth and refreshing.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2009 bottle. Poured clear and golden with a thin white head. Moderate hoppy nose. Smooth medium moothfeel. Sweet, malty, and light bitterness to the finish. Medium carbonation. Crisp and clean flavour. This is my go to beer when all else fails. It surpasses all other macros and some premium brands. Sure it’s a little bland but that’s the pale lager style. iabeerguy (162), Iowa, USA
