This was the first beer I ever drank, and it nearly turned me off of beer for the rest of my life. It was 2 and a half years before I would touch beer again after I drank this. I honestly don’t understand how anyone can drink this when there is so much better on the market.

Oh Labatt, you were my lager of choice in college, and though my pallatte grows more discerning, you still bring fond memories of a more innocent time.

Better than the average macro pale lager, but still has most of the faults of the style. Thin and watery with a corny malt base.....though not as "cheap" tasting as many others out there. Similar to Molson Canadian.

Pours a typical clear golden yellow, head does not last. Aroma is average, malty without any undertones - nothing special, but not repulsive, either. Taste is about what one would expect, smooth with no bitterness. I detected a slight metallic hint - probably since I sampled it from a can - and found this beer a little watery but still palatable.

For one of the big mass produced beers this one seems ot have a bit more on the palate and the finish. Clean and crisp with the sweet corn taste. Color is pale and the aroma comes accross as a skunk.

Canette 355ml.

when it comes to good cheap beer. better flavor than a bud or miller or that crap for the same price, and better taste than a PBR or busch (obviously) this beer is great when you just wanna get drunk for less than $20.
