Hmmm... this is a drudgingly mediocre pale lager. I really think that Americans put Canadian beers on a pedestal and consider them higher. This is just margainally better than the American beers that are of the same calibre. Frankly I would mind this less if it wasn’t for the finish and aftertaste which I found abrasive and somewhat offensive.

Drank this after Moosehead. Much Better. Very smooth and refreshing. Nose of bread or cookies, and caramel. Taste of brown sugar. No head, artificial. Good tasting, but gets low points for being to simple.

12 oz aluminum can. A pale lager indeed. But a heck of a lot better than most canned lagers. Has that cheap lager aftertaste that I can’t stand though.

Just barely better then Molson Canadian which doesn’t say much anyway. Very lacking in taste. The worst Pilsner I have ever had.

Very weak to non-existant character. Sweet and watery with a very grainy odour. Calling it a pilsner is very wrong.

Big Blue the can says. Pours a big urine color with a foamy white head. Very grainy aroma. Grassy taste with some hay. Somewhat sweet. Not over the top carbonation. OK for the style I guess.

Cold 25.3oz can shared with Volgon, DirtyMike and Hophead75: Pours a clear straw color with a big, fizzy ivory head that quickly dissolves. Light grains and grass. Very watery, moderately carbonated and boring.

big can split with a few rb members up in NH just for the hell of it. Pours a clear urine yellow, with a medium to large off white head. Aroma is corn and cereal grains. Taste is watery, corn and off malts with some nasty grassy hops in the background. Lively carbonation helps with the mouthfeel but that’s the only positive I am taking out of that experience.
