Poors yellow, with little to no head retention. This taste thin body. Weak brew. It does go down easy. ghawener (963), San Salvador, El Salvador

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 17, 2006 The 11.5 oz bottle poured a crystal clear golden beverage with a small fizzy white head that was completely gone in 30 seconds and left almost no lacing on the glass. The aroma was somewhat dominated by malt with that annoying pilsner skunk aroma lingering in the background. There were also some floral hop notes detectable. The body was medium light with lively carbonation and a watery texture. This one would be great on a hot day while mowing the lawn. The flavor starts off slightly sweet, quickly changing to a light bitterness that lasted through the short finish. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA

Poured a clear pale macro yellowish golden with a foamy white head.
Had a nose of cooked corn, a hint of fruitiness and sweet malts.
Fizzy carbonation and a softly crisp, watery light bodied mouthfeel.
Sweet and bland tasting, thin sweet tasteless malts, I’m guessing rice, too sweet for my taste, cooked sweet corn as well, there is light fruitiness towards the end, and a dryish sweet malty finish.
I had this at lunch with a friend today, my bbq pulled pork sandwich wasn’t that great, the meat was dry and this didn’t help, I don’t mind a macro lager now and then, but the overall sweetness of this really lowered the drinkability for me.

Hints of corn in the aroma. Rotten metallic malty flavor with a sweet corn syrup finish. Sucks. $4.99 a 12 pack. ElBorracho (472), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Odd, the only other beer at the fest was Becks, so they had one German beer and a Canadian one. Anyways, this is a typical lager with very light hopping and non-offensive flavors. Yippee!
