greedycheater (71), Oklahoma, USA Apr 30, 2008 Clear yellow. Quickly disappearing white head. Mild, hoppy aroma. Full mouth feel, more malty than the aroma would lead to believe. Quite silky. Label says pilsner, but I’m thinking more lager. Very easy to drink, a refresher for sure - somewhat bitter and salty. Better than a 9 but nothing distinguishing to make it anything more than a 15. Perhaps the Canadian version of Bud Light.
Soonah (454), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Jul 11, 2008 Pours crystal clear gold with a short white head that didn’t produce lacing. The aroma was malty, somewhat corny. The flavor follows suit with some dry graininess that produced an uncomfortable flavor, finish and mouthfeel. cbkschubert (1518), Skyline, Arizona, USA Jul 11, 2008 Bottle - Pours a light golden color with a small white. Light lacing. Aroma is light grain and herbal hops. Flavor is much of the same. This and Molson Canadian seem to be the BMC of choice in the Buffalo area. There is nothing really special about this beer, but it was easy to drink while I was in Buffalo. Worth a try.
Gypsy19 (155), AMERICA RISING, USA Jul 9, 2008 This is the Pabst Blue Ribbon of Canada. No flavor, character, or anything worthy of speaking of. Perhaps okay at a frat party, or anywhere else cheap, weak beer is appreciated. In other words, a waste of time, unless there’s nothing else around. Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jun 28, 2008 Bottle 355ml. Bath Rd. Smokey malt hop aroma. Clear yellow colour with great head and lacing. Bitter malt hop flavour with stale aftertaste. Fizzy palate. AgentSteve (606), Livermore, California, USA Jun 20, 2008 What can I say, I needed an Ontario rating. Not this is bad, (especially in 105 California heat) but it is a bit more bitter than Coor’s Light (my light beer standby) and very watery.
