Aroma grassy hops and cereals; rather faint and earthy. Taste is mostly corn with some grainy crispiness to it. Soda cracker-like crispiness in the aftertaste and a finish that is like corn flakes cereal fading to a vomit-like back taste. Strangebrewer (224), Chatham, Ontario, Canada

I don’t turn down free beer but I’m coming close. Skunky smell and crisp taste that doesn’t last long. Mildly pleasant, but really don’t buy this. terrybail (340), London, Ontario, Canada

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Beer pours a clear pale brass color and zero head was produced during the dump into my glass, massive bubbles keep floating up from the bottom of my glass but don’t stick around very long. There seems to be a surprising amount of hops present in the aroma, I’m not saying tons of hops but there is a noticeable amount of it, maybe some weak smelling malt can be noticed but not to much, all smell vanished after about a minuet. Once again I’m surprised I can detect a decent hop character in the flavor, along with some sweet bready malts, the finish however is a little stale and cardboardy. Mouth feel was another nice surprise medium bodied and good carbonation, not water like most macro produced beer. This is not a high quality beer buts it’s also not crap, great for camping or just getting pissed Vertical Bacon Strips (903), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

It’s hard to stop at just one, or one dozen. Decent dying head with bubbles like dish soap, nice gold colour and nice mild malty taste. It’s even drinkable and enjoyable after getting warmer. How many times have I gotten trashed while camping on this crap?! Barely a fraction of the times compared to adopted child Old Style Pilsner....Lets get ripped! cyrenaica (440), Milton, Ontario, Canada

I tried this beer on May 22, 2009 at ’Hoops Bar and Grill (Bremner Blvd)’ in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a minimal white head, and a high amount of effervescence. The aroma was grainy malt and a surprising amount of hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was similar to the aroma with grainy malt and a surprising hoppish flavour. Definitely better than I expected for something that probably can be classed as ’swill’
