nefarious (202), Clarkston, Michigan, USA Dec 15, 2008 Every time I go to Canada I make sure this is one of the brew I pick up. Its just a good macro lager. Nothing special aweful aroma and and almost completely clear with a strawn and cereal flavor. Goes down like water. MMMMMMMMMMMM oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Oct 30, 2008 Pours a light golden yellow color. Aromas of a little skunk( nice hints of malt and grass. Flavor is an almost watered down version of its big brother, with some of the taste. Jonneh (1), Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada does not count Jul 30, 2008 I don’t know if it’s the palate or the pride that makes me love this beer so much. Northern Ontario has much love for this beer and not too many others. I don’t know if it’s because I was raised on this stuff or it’s actually delicious... but i love it! hazer772 (18), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Jan 28, 2008 Very drinkable...seems to have some odd connection with the town of Brantford or anyone in the 519 area code....they seem to have a loyalty. Very watery.. not my thing beerlover79 (35), st. catharines, Ontario, Canada Oct 17, 2007 one of the most refreshing beers i have ever had, great with hot wings or pizza, a bit expensive, easy drinking, but nice subtle taste and clean finish, nice colour and average head, light corn smell. this beer lives up to its name, just to price matt7215 (942), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Sep 17, 2007 pours yellow with a small white head. saaz hoppyness in a canadian macro lager? yeah i know its weird but it makes this one actually tolerable. i dont buy this but most of my home town drinks it so ive had my fair share handed to me. an ok pale lager for sure Slacks (481), Bolton, Ontario, Canada May 27, 2007 341ml Bottle: My wife’s family have SO many weddings every year, always at the same place, who only serve five pieces of macro crap. Finally, last night, I decided to try Crystal. The lady at the bar informed me, with a very straight face, that I’d "never drink another brand" after; high praise, indeed! Poured a gentle, unassuming yellow with an ever-so-slight edge of white head on the plastic glass t’was poured into. A delicate aroma of air and water. The taste.. well, it’s better than Blue. But then again, so is a ninja throwing star to the left nut. iowaherkeye (1832), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 5, 2006 12oz bottle, no date. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of light corn and grain, spicy, earthy hops. The hops are very subtle. The taste is the same. Sharp carbonation, watery mouthfeel. A decent pale lager--which isn’t saying much.
