Stale aroma. Light yellow body with a slight white lace. Grassy flavor - didn’t really taste any honey.

From a 340 ml. brown bottle with a lot code of J10L74 0535. Pours a handsome ruby or honey tone with a very limited amount of head or lacing. The aroma is fairly weak to my nose but I do catch a little honey. The flavor is sweet and maybe dotted with honey. I really don’t notice any definitive flavor. It’s not a lager but it doesn’t have the sweetness of other honeys I have tried. But it is soothing and I like it, although I don’t know why.

Bottle. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished, virtually no lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, and a yellow hue. Nose was honey, sweet, and a hint of malt. The flavor was honey, sweet, bit of malt, and somewhat harsh tasting. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. This beer definitely did not win me over by means and not that I expected it to by any means. I do not regret trying it, but I definitely won’t be drinking it agin. Next!

I drink a lot of labatt Blue and Ice so I will compare it to those. It was OK but kinda weird. I could taste the honey flavor but it was sort of an afterthought. It has a bitter and sweet taste to it. The thing about Labatt beers is that they look the exact same on the way out as they do on the way in. This beers appearance was much the same.

a good honey after-taste golden hue, easy to drink, one of the lightest honey beers that I have had

Bottle purchased at Kazansky’s. Pours clear yellow, white head. Aroma is malt, slight hops. Flavor is malt, some hops. This is sugary, but I can’t detect any honey.

12oz bottle from a sampler case. Bubbly white head that hangs around longer than I thought it would. Not much in the way of arom aor nose. Very clear, golden........why, just like honey! A better honey lager than most I’ve had, except for that I’ve made from Papazian’s book.

Bottle- I guess this is the "american" version of the genuine honey lager that is ubiquitous here in Ontario. Golden body, pours a finger of frothy white froth. The aroma is quite grainy and smells of malt, fruit and sugars. The flavour profile is slightly sweet grain, sugars, a bit of creamed corn. Finishes prickly and semi sweet. Standard. Thanks Joey!

So I get to be the first to rate this bad boy. Cool. Pours a dark orange/amber body with a thick and foamy off white head. Lots of carbonation here. Aromas are slight chemical and corn off the start. Then some mild hops and a slight molasses. Taste is sweet, some hops...mild malt, and some honey. Finish is watery, with a sweet almost malt liquorish aftertaste. Ordinary. Thanks to my buddy court for the bottle!
