Nice gold color, decent-lasting head. The flavor was definitely sweet with honey, but was D.O.A. once it hit my mouth. It kind of just laid there, flat and sticky... just like a one-night stand in college. And like that one night stand, it stuck around too long. But unlike that one-night stand, I don’t regret trying it. I just don’t think I’ll be calling it again anytime soon. Drjohnrock (95), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Light amber color, minimal lasting head with not much lacing, nondescript aroma, bitter flavor with unduly harsh elements obscured by subtle but firm honey taste in the backround,. pleasant aftertaste. The honey taste isn’t overly sweet and actually makes this beer drinkable but not something I would want to drink everyday. cazort (419), Newark, Delaware, USA

This beer tasted a tiny bit sweeter to me, but it’s hard for me to say whether it was psychology or sensation. At any rate, it was decent, but certainly not any better than Labatt blue; if anything I would slightly prefer the blue, as I don’t like sweetness in a beer. Like Labatt blue, I was able to taste some hops, and there was some richness to the malt. It was refreshing without being boring, and I was overall quite impressed--after all, I didn’t expect all that much. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was lagerish and honey. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The smooth flavor contained notes of malt and honey. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Pour was nice enough...medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste was vomit with a flat honey aftertaste. If someone ate a bunch of Bit o Honey candies, threw up and mixed it with seltzer water, you’d have this. demitriustown (702), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA

Pours a golden/amber with a medium sized white head with some retention. Taste is a plae lager with a bit of honey in there. Overall, It’s nt horrid. It’s not something that I’d go out of my way to get again, but not horrible. mrant (330), New York, USA
