Commercial Description:
Fresh, smooth taste coupled with pronounced hop character distinguishes it from other lagers. Editor's note: Used to be called "Genuine Draft" but they've dropped the "Draft".

355ml can. Pours a very light yellow colour. Head is white, short lasting. Light grassy aroma. Flavour is sweetish grainy malts, finishes watery. Has a light body, high carbonation. Fairly weak overall.

Pours a clear off-yellow, aroma is not good and does not inspire confidence. Amazingly enough taste is quite sweet with an obvious emphasis on grains. Finishes with a sour aftertaste. There’s a reason why this stuff goes for $14.50 per case of 12...that’s all it’s worth.

Here is an example of a beer that I must have drunk litres of in quantity over the years (high school & uni mostly), but have never given a second thought. I will attempt to critically analyze it now. Here goes. <!-- SIP -->...... Yep, it’s on the brighter side of "fairly crappy" in all categories, but drinkable nonetheless.

Bottle shared with jerc, hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and gregClow, my bottle (from my Dad’s 2-4!) Light yellow, small white head. Very harsh harsh aroma - skunked, yet a fresh bottle! Strange sweet taste mixed with grain - way more taste than aroma, but still not very good. Probably gets a point just because it does not have the usual Labatt white wine charter. Not good, but a rating for free...

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & tupalev -- courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear pale yellow with a spare white head. Crappy aroma of sweet grain, corn and sugar. Flavour -- bleargh! Awful aftertaste. Very thin bodied. Complete shit.

Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and Tupalev - tupalev’s bottle. Poured pale flat yellow with a wispy little head. Nasty, (bad) sour-funky aroma - tries to be sweet; fails - reminiscent of spoiled grain and dead weeds. Taste is scorched grassy-sweet, with sour grain and cardboard, thin, almost - ALMOST - hoppy bitter, ugh. Watery body, astringent and lightly carbonated - just poor - smells horrid.

Bottle. Pale yellow body with a tiny white head. Grainy not quite skunky but strange lightly vegetal aroma. Watery, thin cereal and cardboard flavour. Thin Body. Poor.

Bottle shared with blankboy, jerc, HogTownHarry & tupalev - courtesy of tupalev. Pale piss yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma of plastic and cat pee. Flavour of... pretty much nothing. Whoopee.
