Aroma and flavor is grain and herbal hops. There is a hint of citrus in the flavor. A light bodied beer which was fairly easy to drink. Worth a try. MrBeerFanatic (360), jamestown, New York, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Pours light yellow with a white fizzy head. Smells like lime soda with a hint of alcohol. The taste is really watery of lime and some wheat(?). Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but still not good. Its like drinking lime flavored pop:) Kind of refreshing after a long skate session. These would be fun to chug or funnel and have in a keg. Ron (1033), Rochester, New York, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Poured clear like water until it hit the glass and was a weak pale yellow to look thru. Small amount of lime flavor with even less in the aroma. OK on a hot day and you are parched. Tmoney99 (4773), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Bottle from sampler case at Sams Club. Poured clear light pale color with an average rocky white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Light sour citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture with lively carbonation. Light sweet & sour flavor with a bitter finish of short duration. Drinkable summer brew. jb (1055), Rochester, New York, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Yes the trend in lime-flavored beers is not a good one. They all taste the same, not very beer-like, just watery, limey crap. Oh yeah, it was labeled labatt twist and it was fizzy yellow beer. JPDIPSO (4926), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Very pale straw color with a Fizzy, white, sharp snapping bubbles. Mildly sweet lime scents. LIght sweet start with a touch of lime zest joining in the middle and carrying on into the finish. Some actual malt and beer flavors do seem to come out in the linger which is the only saving grace in this one. A pale lager with a shot of lime juice. Big whoop! | 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Labeled Labatt Twist. To me, there are two specific joys in beer drinking: sampling a beer that is so unique and incredible that it is completely stunning, and sampling a beer that is so heinous that you are compelled to warn others of its crapiness. The recent trend of Lime beers, as a rule, fall into the second category, and Labatt twist is no different. This is so horrible that the only good things I can say about the beer is that 1. it’s cold ( which, i suppose, is kudos to me for having a fridge and keeping the beer in there) and that it’s 2. carbonated (I guess I should thank Labatt for not bottling flat beer?). Don’t ever drink this, trick someone else into drinking it.
