Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 20, 2001 They still make this? This was the ultimate flash in the pan - when it first came out the entire university went down and bought some. Every single person on campus was a total horror show. Nobody ever touched the stuff again. With its assault of alcohol flavours, poor, grainy taste and carbonation that will strip the enamel from your teeth, this is one of the worst beers ever made. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 11/07/2002
Bov (4780), Bienne, Switzerland Aug 20, 2001 faroeviking (4713), The Autonomous Beer Republic,, Faroe Islands Jan 22, 2007 Bottle golden colour with a short lasting medium white head. Weak aroma of malt and some sweetness. Flavour is sweetish, maltish, alcoholic. Easy to drink weak flavoured beer. JPDIPSO (4397), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jun 28, 2008 24 oz. of goodness packaged in a can labeled MAX ICE. LIght straw color with a tall white head which dissipates and leaves a nice vale of lace. Any chance of the rest of beer being as good as the looks is quickly dashed by the first sniff. Odors of white grapes, grain, corn, bit of perfume and touch of alcohol. Fairly light start with just a bit of pale malt. Fairly thick and respectable feel. Malt liquor flavors come in mid quaff, with corn squeezens, light malt and hints of alcohol. I have this one quite cold and am certainly not going to let this one warm up much prior to most of it clearing out my drain.
