Pour from a 11.5 oz bottle. The best thing about this brew is its appearance - nice and dark with a tan head that quickly fades. Unfortunately, the flavor and body are surprisingly light, considering its appearance. Aroma is faint malt with metallic under tones. Body is thin. Sweet roasted malt flavor at the start, very faint trace of hops in the finish. What’s here is good, but there just ain’t enough here.

Rich and sort of sweet in flavor. Aroma is sort of a chocolaty scent. Drinks more like a black lager than a porter. Finishes cleanly.

Signature porter, had a faint aroma of a porter, reminded me more of a black and tan, actually thinner than a b & t, only had 4 in the variety pack, which was a good thing

Bottle in Montreal.. Dark brown. Thin head. Light malt scent with lingering fruitiness. Light body thin on malt.

Bottle. Very dark brown - almost opaque. Roasty smelling. Flavor, however is very weak. Not bad for the price but does not taste like a porter.

12-oz. Thanks, Headbanger! Pours black with a thin, wispy, short-lived white head. Slightly acrid burnt cola nose, some coffee there as well. Watery light body, some fizz showing. Caramel, raisins, and burnt cola on the mid-palate. Something seems rather amiss here, not sure if the malt got scorched or if there’s a funny adjunct in here or just what.

(bottle - 340 ml) Dark red pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma is light with some light roasted hints, vegetables, caramel malts, and some sugar. Light chocolate. Flavor is oddly sweet at the beginning with some light malts through the middle. Odd, almost tangy finish and aftertaste. Very watery and too odd a flavor for a porter.

Bottle. A dark reddish brown color pour with a thin off white head. Aroma is a sweet dark burnt malt with a touch of cooked vegetables.Flavor is way too sweet, chocolate, faint coffee and an odd lactose note, thin body with an odd slightly metallic aftertaste, not a very good porter at all.
