Commercial Description:
Labatt Select is brewed to be light, and has a unique taste with only 99 calories per bottle and 4.2% alcohol by volume. Fermented longer at lower temperatures to give a smooth, clean taste, Select uses unique North American aromatic hops that impart a delicate flavour and aroma. Lightly roasted specialty malt contributes to the overall body and balance of this unique product, providing a delicate hop aroma and flavour that is complemented by a soft finish.

I guess for low carb it isn’t bad but.. Pours a nice yellow with a head that disappears in seconds. Way over-carbonated, which distracted from the taste.

This came in a variety pack so I had to try it. Otherwise stay away from this one. Poured golden yellow with a good amount of head. Thin sweet flavor was disgusting. Maybe someone on a low carb diet would drink it, but no one else.

Bottle: Aroma is rather sweet with lots of corn. Pours a transparent gold (actually more gold than their standard beers) with a quickly diminishing white head. Tastes like a low carb beer with sugar in it. Can be sugar though, must be sucrulose. No real hops at all. Just sweet from start to finish. You could do worse for a low carb beer.

My first low carb beer. Very bubbley yellow color with a small white head. Corn aroma and flavor. Strong carbonation.

Bottle, from a holiday case, very cold, then it warmed. Only slightly more flavorful than water! Seriously! I can’t think of anything creative or constructive to say about this one!

why do they put this in the mixer pack, actually it wasn’t too bad although I wouldn’t drink too many of them, could’ve tasted worse.

11.5 oz bottle: Typical soap-bubble head, no retention. No aroma whatsoever. Color was very pale yellow, lots of bubbles. Faint taste of stinking corn, no hops or malt. When the carbs are sucked out of beer, so is the flavor. Pisssssssssssssssssssssss.

My "My beers average" was getting too high so I wanted to rate this. . . .
Kidding aside, this was foul. The funny thing about these beers is that you would think them to taste like nothing, just water right? But they surprise you and have a disgustingly sweet stale corn syrup flavor, and I taste no hops. I can’t believe they even use the word hops in the description. Light gold, no aroma, watery body, cheap syrupy sweetness. Pure garbage.
