Draft in LaConner, WA - Deep violet with no head. Tart sour taste with sweet berry finish. Very very nice. It’s better than any Lambic I’ve had.

Bottle @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy reddish color with a small fast disappearing off-white head. Has a fruity tart raspberry aroma. Tart sour raspberry flavor. Tart and slightly vinous raspberry finish.

Bottled. Hazy dark ruby, small off-white head. In-your-face fresh raspberry aroma. Lightly acidic with foirm body. The citric acidity goes very well with the raspberries, and the oak flavour enhances the experience even further. There is not much distracting from this one beautiful flavour, making it perhaps somewhat one-dimensional. Still this one flavour brings the beer to near fantastic levels...

Bottle: Ruby caramel, moderate foamy off-white head, spotty lacing, very little carbonation.   Dry tart fruity aroma... this is American?   Super tart berry flavor, very clean, did I mention tart?   Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate.   Long lingering tart fruity finish., teetering on being sour.   Clean, simple, but simply wonderful.   Probably one of the better LaConner brews I have had, aside from their Dry Hopped IPA.   Very Belgianesque.   Thanks to mattbob for sharing!

Nice Flemish Ale, sour at the front with a nice raspberry sweetness as it goes doen. Full bodied yet not over sweet or malty. Very nice balance.

Brown beer with a nice reddish tint. Massive fruity aroma, tart raspberry, sour aroma. A touch of lactic character, some oaky vanilla, sweet/sour but very clean, bright fruity aroma. Flavour is tart with a nice light maltiness up front, sweet but not cloying, full-bodied, but not syrupy. Very tart, raspberry fruit. No alcohol is detectable and this feels much lighter than it actually is. Dryish tart and fruity finish. Awesome beer.

Murky reddish-brown colour. Big oaky nose with raspberries, blueberries, and a lot of malt, too...very Rodenbachish. The body is tart, surprisingly light. Very refreshing. This despite having a fairly rich caramel malt character, in part due to the exquisite balance of fresh raspberries and wonderful oakiness. Not as complex as Rodenbach but in that same league for freshness, brightness and refreshment. Best Framboise in the US, even better than Flossmoor’s and miles ahead of New Glarus’ confection.

Apparently I was given incorrect information about being served the last bottle and this is still available, but only at the pub as it isn’t labelled and it would be illegal to distribute outside the pub.
