BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 17, 2008 Sweet malty nose, which follows through into the flavor proflie. Rich and sweet without that annoying graininess that I have had recently in other takes on this style. This is just smooth and sweet as can be without being over the top. This could use just a touch more carbonation as it has kind of a flat mouthfeel.
Bradrcr (568), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 29, 2008 6/28/08 On draught at the Brewpub. Aroma is sweet malt forward with an almost herbal note. Appearance is clear gold with a low white head. Flavor is sweet and simple, with no grain or hop character and only moderate bittering. Mouthfeel is moderate bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, nowhere near big enough for a vienna lager, this needs much more roast/munich malt. jayc (28), USA Apr 18, 2004 Their best one on tap! Great head and lively, 'bold and beautiful' ... I didn't know whether to drink this or save it to bathe in later ... just kidding! Smooth, very smooth with no kick but powerful. Very good with the pizza at the La Conner Brew pub in lovely downtown La Conner. You gotta go and have a LAGER! Suttree (2283), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Apr 28, 2003 Grain and malt dominate the aroma and initial flavor. Wonderful Creamy texture. Seems to taste bigger than the advertised 6% alcohol. Crit (2237), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jan 13, 2003 Cloudy deep amber, lasting off white head.Faint malt nose.Decent body, but bland malt flavor.
