From the tap this pours a deep brown highlighted in ruby and has a creamy beige head. The aroma is sweet and worty, and at first I thought this lager might rot my teeth. But the flavor includes a mild earthy bitterness and a touch of smoke that balance it out and make it a sessionable beer.
