Medium sized ivory head with a short retention span, transparent body, no visible carbonation, and an amber hue. The aroma was sweet, malty, some caramel, and mildly hoppy. Ditto for the flavor with the alcohol coming through. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium bodied beer. Easy to drink, very smooth but did not leave me at a loss for words as it was just an okay doppelbock. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

The mild aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of malt and sweet. A decent one that I would consider buying again. The flavor was very true to style and I enjoyed that. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA

It has a sweet malt flavor with an alcohol kick that’s quite noticeable. There’s some mild hops in there and a sweet finish with more alcohol. Not bad.
