beveritt (2), Ohio, USA does not count May 20, 2009 Poured from a growler into a standard pint glass.
Appearance: Pours with a thin but complete coating of white foam. this settles slowly, eventually dropping to a ring around the glass and a few wisps of foam. Some lacing remains. The beer itself is bright gold with just a slight chill haze.
Sweet caramel malt with hints of vegetal hops. Slight hints of smoke.
Caramel malt upfront with a biscuity malt backbone. Slight notes of honey. Vegetal hop flavor yields to a medium bitterness in the finish, lingers well after the sip. Average carbonation level. Body is very good. A flavorful, yet easy drinking lager. LBC seems to be doing more and more seasonals recently, and several lagers.
