Commercial Description:
IBU 38 ABV 5.3% A traditional extra special bitter (ESB), this ale is the result of a blend of English pale carmel malts to create just the right body. Then we incorporate classic hop varieties to create a harmonious balance with the malts. A rich copper color enhances this delicious brew.

Part of the sampler. Light orange color with a strong hop aroma. Actually a lighter hop flavor than I was expecting compared to the others I had. Very drinkable.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured clear copper hue with medium creamy head that diminshed slowly with good lacing. Medium aroma of hops and malt. Medium body with soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor of malt, hops and citrus with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

The body of this ale is clear coppy and the small ecru head fades rapidly. It smells of caramel, fresh apples, and a grassy & floral hopping. It’s got a nice malty, fruity flavor with a bitterness that increases as the drink continues. Very sessionable.

On tap at LBC. Poured a very small sized ivory head that contained fine sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was softly carbonated and transparent with an amber brown hue. The aroma was malty, caramel, some hops and some grassy notes. The flavor was lightly bitter and sweet. The mouthfeel was smooth and this was a medium bodied beer with very sparse lacing.

Medium amber hued with a small frothy head and some lace. The aroma hints of caramel malts, toffee, grassy and floral hops, and dusty yeast esters. The taste was well balanced with sweet malt and mildly bitter hops, some ripe fruit added in. The finish is short and chalky, lost. The mouthfeel is sort of bland, smooth yet boring. An average beer at best.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small head of fine to medium sized off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was a transparent softly carbonated amber brown color. The aroma was malty and had notes of caramel hops in it. The mouth feel was very mild with only a slight tingle to it. It also had a very mild caramel malt mildly bitter hop flavor.
