Pours a copper-gold, with a rim in whitish. Flavor is really solid. A fresh blast of hop flavor in that lightly spice, spruce and orange over a well-bodied, but not too sweet malt back. A balanced, fresh delicate beer. A real solid drink, that’s bright and sprightly with nice character across the board. Very enjoyable. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Probably should have ordered this one. I had a taste of my wife’s. More like a standard IPA you get at a typical brew pub. Decent hops. Fairly full taste. Not bad. Cornfield (4980), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 8, 2007 From the tap this poured a clear amber body with almost no head. The aroma is surprizingly hoppy, grapefruit and lemon zest with a touch of pine. Underneath it all is a quietly sweet pale malt that is more detectable in the flavor. The hoppy bitterness actually increases in the flavor, burying the malt, and lasting well into the finish. Tasty and refreshing. I could see drinking a whole bunch of these.
