Commercial Description:
A refreshingly light, yet very complex flavor gives this one a very european 'Savoir Faire'. From Lagunitas Brewing: "The style of this one is tough to pinpoint--we rarely brew beers to fit any particular style. Saison is pretty close-- we used Westmalle yeast on a nice light ale, and the result is what we like to call an Uzbeki Raga Ale." Tony at Lagunitas calls this a "pumped-up version of our highly-touted Lagunator."

Note: 2004 edition was 7.7% ABV, 2006 is 6.6%.

Bottle. Poured clear amber color with a large frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour citrus flavor with a medium smooth balanced finish of moderate duration. Solid refreshing summer beer.

22 oz bottle into a Trappist style glass. Pours a see through bright golden color with a quickly dissappearing head. Belgian yeast, honey, lemons, and freshly baked bread. The flavor has a nice lightly sweet Belgian yeasty start to it which moves quickly into a more spicey and Earth toned taste (borderling on a light Saison). A great refreshing brew for the summer time.

Aniither bomber from who other than...Zug4abby. Pours translucent golden with white diminishing head. Lemon, bready, and belgian yeast easters in the aroma. Flavor is not very sweet, but has belgian like flavors of lemon, wheat malt, and spices. Dry and slight white pepper finish. I would describe this as a belgian ale meets and american wheat, with a slight lean toward the belgian qualities. I would have like some more sweetness. Still good though

Bomber poured a clear golden yellow with a small diminishing white head. Aromas of bread, spices, light apple and a hint of lemon. Palate was light bodied. Flavors of spices, sweet malt, yeast and some fruitiness with a crisp lightly sweet finish.

A clean, crisp, slightly old aroma. This is a nice summer ale. Really has a decent amount of hops and I would drink it if I could get it here. Best "summer" ale I’ve had.

Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is of earthy notes, slight floral aroma, yeast, citrus, and a hint of banana. Very Belgianesque in flavor with all the above coming through nicely on the palate. Not bad, but I’ve had better.
