Commercial Description:
A refreshingly light, yet very complex flavor gives this one a very european 'Savoir Faire'. From Lagunitas Brewing: "The style of this one is tough to pinpoint--we rarely brew beers to fit any particular style. Saison is pretty close-- we used Westmalle yeast on a nice light ale, and the result is what we like to call an Uzbeki Raga Ale." Tony at Lagunitas calls this a "pumped-up version of our highly-touted Lagunator."

Note: 2004 edition was 7.7% ABV, 2006 is 6.6%.

pours a bright clear pale golden yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Very dense and persistent. Aroma is mainly that distinct Belgian spice and yeast with some mile light grain notes. Flavors are more of the same. lLenty of pale slightly sweet maltiness and an up front Belgian flavor. Fairly thin, light and a bit dry. Quite soft.

Bomber. Aromas of fruits and sugars. Slightly hazy orange tinged amber color with essentially no head at all. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is caramel, bread, earth and light floral hop. The finish is dryish and earthy floral. A bit astringent and woody. After awhile honey aroma is present. Agree, saison is pretty close.

Bottle enjoyed with golubj; poured a nice rich gold. Aroma of apples, yeast, bready malt and honey. The flavor is buttery with a little earthy malt and yeast. Enjoyable beer and the complex flavor gives this one a very european Savoir Faire.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color, some white head. Aroma of apples, yeast, bready malt and honey. The flavor is buttery with a little earthy malt and yeast. Bottle seemed a little flat, but the beer didn’t taste bad.

wheaty aroma. Nice and refreshing sweet citrus with a little spice. moderate palate, well balanced, hides the alcohol well. Great finish that leaves you wanting more. Perfect for a hot summer night

650 ml bottle from vintage cellars. Golden amber with a fizzy white head. Light citrus and yeast aroma. A grape and slight lemon taste with some noticable hops in the finish.
