Commercial Description:
A refreshingly light, yet very complex flavor gives this one a very european 'Savoir Faire'. From Lagunitas Brewing: "The style of this one is tough to pinpoint--we rarely brew beers to fit any particular style. Saison is pretty close-- we used Westmalle yeast on a nice light ale, and the result is what we like to call an Uzbeki Raga Ale." Tony at Lagunitas calls this a "pumped-up version of our highly-touted Lagunator."

Note: 2004 edition was 7.7% ABV, 2006 is 6.6%.

Beautiful golden color with a small creamy white head. Fizzy carbonation. Orange yeast and vanilla nose. Hoppy kick in the beginning, crisp indeed with a light spicy finsih. Nice refreshing summerbeer - but I couldn*t wait this long :-)

Gold in color with lite head. Nose of light citrus with a touch of honey and yeast. Flavor of light hops and well balance of malt. Very light beer to the finish.

Pours crystal clear pale yellow with thick lasting head. Aroma is sweet candy smell, reminds me of pez. Flavor is sweet and a bit tart. Also some citrus in there along with yeast. This is a quality belgian. Fairly light bodied and very drinkable. Alcohol not at all apparent.

Yeasyty, vanilla, and orange nose - very Belgian. Lovely gold color and a foamy whilte head. Light malt, yeasty apricot, spicy and clovey. Thin and broad gritty hop bitter. Medium body, crisp texture. Good, reserved Belgian-stlye beer. Like this one the more I drank it.

Lightly hazy golden, bit head. Candyish, insanely fruity aroma. Rather reminicent of Duvel yeast aroma. Some spicy hops as well. Extremely light bodied. Very fruity and estery flavor. Candyish. Very refreshing, with some sneaky alcohol, but more felt than tasted. Sweetnes is a bit tiresome by the end of the glass, but very enjoyable.

Poured a light yellow color with a small white head. Malty aroma with a citrus lemon note. Malty and lemon flavors with a mild yeastiness and spice. Light to medium body.
