Jul 15, 2009 Pours a light orange color with a medium sized off fluffy head. Nose is grapefruit pulp, fresh malt, and toasted biscuits. Very inviting. Taste is about the same with some additional notes of pine, and the grapefruit just comes across weaker. Oily mouthfeel with an astringent finish. Very bitter. Medium to long finish.

Jul 15, 2009 Pours clear copper-orange with a medium beige head, good lasting lacing. Aroma of pine, grass, biscuit, leather, apple, and grapefruit. Full bodied, zesty and dry. Hearty malt notes of toast, toffee, and plum, with a rich, earthy grass and citrus finish. Tastes a bit heavier than 6.3%. A big, complex brew.

Jul 12, 2009 A big bitter grapefruit hop bite pounces from the first sip. A nice choice of hop varieties here with big grapefruit and lesser pine and floral notes. Very little balancing sweetness means the hops are free to roam and that they do. Very aggressive. Very flavorful, too.

Jul 11, 2009 Brilliant orange, golden, with a 2 inch white head. Nice carbonation. Crystal malt and citrus hop aroma. Taste starts off sharp, and trickles down. The flavor is bursting with delicious hops, and a bittersweet malt finish. The consistency is smooth, and has a nice bite. It’s going to be hard to beat this one.
