Pour is a golden/orange with a small white head. Aroma is of a solid hop with your usual pine and grapefruit. Flavor is a very clean american west coast hop with a few malts in there for balance. Its about time someone made a Sierra Nevada APA clone. Another well made beer by this brewer and again the $4.99 price tag can’t be beat.

Drank a lot of this beer in Montana last weekend. Love it. Golden Orange color with a tinge of Grapefruit taste. Super refreshing as beer should be on a hot summer day.

Pours a clear yellow/orange with a thin long lasting white head. Aroma is major citrus fruit, lots of orange juice, and grapefruit. Flavor is very hop forward, but not at all bitter. Very clean refreshing beer. Really nice.

600th United States Rating: 22oz bomber served in a shaker. Clear golden amber pour with a thin head of light beige foam that hung around for a bit. Nice lacing. The aroma included a blend of fresh tangerines, grapefruit, and pineapple on top of some smooth caramel. The flavor had mildly bitter pineapple, oranges, tropical fruits, and lightly caramelized pale malt. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and had light carbonation. Crisp and bitting. Pretty good for an APA.

bomber from once upon a vine. pours a very very bright, clear golden orange with a thin, white head and great lacing. aroma is excellent with bright, fresh hop scents of grapefruit, pineapple, and orange with notes of candied sugar and light, biscuity malts. flavor is great as well with a very nice balance of bitter, spicy, citrus hops and caramel malt sweetness with hints of peach, pine resin, and simple syrup. palate is crisp, medium bodied, and wonderfully drinkable with a dry, bitter grassy hop finish. overall, an excellent "hop stoopid junior" and another well made beer from lagunitas.

22oz bomber. Pours a clear amber-orange with a medium-sized long-lasting off-white head. The aroma is awesome. Lots of American hops - pine, citrus - combined with nice crystal malt character - honey, caramel sweetness. The flavor follows the nose: beautiful American hop flavor and bitterness with lots of pleasantly balancing sweet and sticky malts. Assertive hoppy finish with some dryness and pine cone hops aftertaste. The mouthfeel is crisp and medium in body with a nice sudsiness that feels right for a beer of this strength. Overall, a freakin’ great American Pale Ale - definitely sweeter than most APAs, but still very drinkable and superbly hoppy.

Lots of hops and flavor for an APA! Flavor is tangy fruit and hops. Clear amber color with medium head.

Pours clear amber with a thick creamy white head. Sweet pineapple aroma. Taste is the same with sweetness over the hop bitterness, but is way more flavorful than most APA’s.
