On tap at Coles, Buffalo, NY. Pours a deeper orange. Big piney garpefruit hop aromas. Taste is grapefruit, sticky resiny, piney hops. Slight garden weed bitter burn. Still another nice hop offering from Lagunitas

Several 22oz bottles lately, dark orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is grain and citrus. Flavor is grapefruit, caramel, pine, and other assorted citrus. creamy mouth feel. This season is full of Lagunitas beers and every one so far a winner.

pours clear and a dark golden/orange shade with a soapy white head. the smells reminds me a lot of a burlap sack filled with grain... pale malt sweetness, caramel, canned orange juice, grapefruit and non resinous pine. the pine in the flavor is a bit waxy and bitter... mixed with malty sweetness, grapefruit and lots of sticky juicy hoppy dryness on the finish. medium to full/medium bodied with a creamy mouth feel. simple and well executed. 8/4/8/4/16/4.0

Bomber. Pours clear dark gold with a one finger off-white head that results in nice lacing. The nose is sweet ripe citrus and caramel malt. The taste is more citrus and malt with some mild pine in the finish. Medium bodied. Good APA – nice and hoppy!

22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first two sips and left a thin scummy film on the glass. Pleasant aroma of fruity grapefruit. The flavor is basically the same as the aroma with perhaps a bit of weak malt up front, otherwise its all grapefruit. Medium grapefruit bitterness at the finish. Super hoppy and decidedly unbalanced, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Poured a slightly darker than normal clear copper color with a white to off-white head that was a bit fizzy on the pour but had good retention and lacing. The aroma was terrific. Sweet, lightly tart citrus and is balanced out well with caramel malts and light pine hops and spices. The flavor is well balanced between citrus, caramel and resinous pine hops. A bit of chronic seemed to come out as the beer opened up. The mouthfeel is pretty much perfect for this type of beer. Refreshing, quaffable, sessionable. Loved it.

One of the best Noses I’ve had in a bottle in a while! Pours a nice light golden slight with amber hint. Nice fluffy white head that lasts, overflowing at first, but after 30 min, 1/3 inch still hanging in there, looks like a sticky lace left behind.... I’ve been let down on others, but this is a great aroma! 1st sip was quite light, as implied on the label, with nice bitters. Boy i LOVE Lagunitas and am so glad they’re pretty available to me! Great IPA flavors without the higher alcohol or heavy flavors of some west coast ipa’s but with the great highlights. [ ooh great hop burp] Very Drinkable! Nice light and Crisp! Great after taste. Long live Lagunitas!
