Anyway, it was refreshing as hell and tasted oh so good. Pours a slightly amber clear orange with thick off-white head. Aroma strong of citrus hops, mostly grapefruit, pine, and ever so slight malt. Flavor matches well, very clean, medium bodied and easy to drink. Wonderful for those hot days. ajm (965), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2009 Tap at Bistro. Aroma is plant-like and very chlorofilled. Taste is tart like unripe green grape peels. Hops are shallow and tart like the regular IPA. Way forgettable. frylock (1027), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2009 Golden brown topped by a medium sized white head. Citric hop aroma with some underlying pine and tropical fruit notes. Moderate bitterness balanced by some biscuit-like malts. Not as much ’juicy’ hop flavor as the aroma suggests. Body is a little on the thin side. NobleSquirrel (1121), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nose is nice and citrusy some pine. On taste, much the same. Very hop forward and robust. Again, lots of citrus and pine notes, finish is quite dry. Very clean and tasty. Very nice.
