Jun 11, 2009 Thin head, disappears quickly. Aroma of grapefruit blossom and pine. Big bitterness hit with strong citrus notes, but very smooth.It says on the bottle "This is NOT a Double IPA". I don’t know why they’d want to t\lie about a thing like that.

Jun 11, 2009 Pours liminous amber with generous white head that laces well. Nose is incredible with some tangerine, grapefruit, pine, and a clean/fresh/soapy scent (no, it’s not the glass). Palate is sharp citrusy, especially at first, and carries through with some tea and slight metallic hop flavors to the finish. Malt plays little role here. Medium to light bodied, easy drinking, and very aromatic/fresh tasting/smelling.
Better than Hop Stoopid.

Jun 10, 2009 Bottle (Bomber) pours a clear copper/orange color with a decent sized, foamy, off-white head. Wonderful hoppy aroma is a mixture of grapefruit, floral, and piney hop notes. Heavy on the hops in the flavor as well with a nice bitter finish. A tiny bit of malt tries to appear, but gives way to more hops. Seems to more closely resemble an IPA, but who’s counting? Very tasty either way.

Jun 10, 2009 22oz bomber. Pours a bright gold with a small off-white head and minimal lacing. Nose is grapefruit, floral and pine. The pine and the grapefruit really come on strong in the taste, aided by a perfect amount of hops. Mouthfeel is smooth and fresh, and the finish lingers on like the memory of your first love. Lagunitas has done it again.

Jun 9, 2009 22 oz. bottle from BevMo (SD) - Pours a clear amber color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, and toasted malt. Flavor is also hop forward with a nice balance of toasted malt sweetness. Medium body. A good beer.

Jun 9, 2009 Nice offwhite head, retention is fair as is the lacing. Light copper hued ale. Light nose of citrus and fruits. Med/light body, good carbonation, gentle. Nice hoppy citrus flavors, light earthiness with a swell malt backing, lightly grainy,bready. and a bit juicey. Fairly dry, lightly fruity finish. Anudder easy quaffer from Lagunitas. Bomber procured @statelineliquors.
