Jun 8, 2009 Pine and floral aroma. Rich amber pour. Full, dry, and a little sharp. Flavor of grapefruit and citrus. A little unbalanced, but still a good hop experience. To me, this seemed more like an IPA than an APA.

Jun 8, 2009 This is just what I needed. Light medium bodied, not too sweet, dry hopped with a less Lagunitas trademark, more PNW hop bill, nothing chewy, too alcoholic, nor syrupy. Like a perfected Torpedo. A simple and beautiful shot at what might easily be an IPA anywhere else. Beautiful in the glass. I hope this one comes back.

Jun 7, 2009 Bomber rating. Strong hop aroma, seems to be the Simcoe variety. This is a simple beer, but extremely well done for a pale ale. It might be the best I’ve tried, maybe close to on par with Alpha King. Actually, now that I think about it, this beer reminds me of Surly Furious. Excellent brew! Might be my favorite so far from Lagunitas.!

Jun 7, 2009 Bomber: Aroma is big on hops, citrus punch in the face, lemon and grapefruit and almost a pulpy aroma to it with a floral scent intermingled. Appearance is a golden color with a slight hint of amber and a medium sized white head that lingers. Taste is hoppy, citrus all the way. If I didn’t know this is a beer I could mistake this as a fruit juice. Not sweet but fruit, gummy, floral, and overall pretty nice. Palate has a bubbly carbonated mouthfeel and an aftertaste with the lingering hops. Overall, I think this is actually one of the Lagunitas that I find really good. Cheers!

Jun 7, 2009 bomber. really nice hoppy balanced APA with a nice price. pours a copper color with a big white head. solid floral hop aroma. medium body with a good amount of bitterness for an APA. solid over the tongue with spicy floral notes up front and a well balanced malt back. great beer with a sessionable abv.

Jun 7, 2009 Bomber shared by Enniskillen. Clear dark gold with a big, longlasting, off white head. Nose of ivy with a touch of floral hops. Flavor is moderately bitter with some balancing caramel. Nicely balanced APA!

Jun 6, 2009 Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-caramel color with a large orange-white head. The aroma was very strong and sweet piney and grapefruity hops. The flavor is sweet piney, resiny and fruity hops with light tangy malts and a touch of floral hops. The finish is long, bitter fruity hops. Very good.

Jun 6, 2009 Very similar to the buckeye brewing hippei IPA with its grapefruit/citrus taste. Not nearly the best beer I’ve had, I did expect it to have a high rating here, but it was disappointing to me to say the least. Myself and other friends who are into different beers often trade what we have discovered recently. It is safe to say that I got the short end of the deal this time.
