Never had a beer so hoppy at such a low ABV. Sure taste like a DIPA which is good w/ me. Very easy & fresh drinker. waolsen (1222), Littleton, Colorado, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2009 Sampled on 6/1/2009. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with nice retention. The aroma is piney hops, fruity and citrusy. A medium bodied APA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and piney. Lively carbonation. A big hoppy APA. Its kind of crisp and dry as well. Has that typical Lagunitas hop signature, which works very well in this beer. A touch of alcohol at the finish. I like the bone dry finish, compliments the hops well. Seems a little lighter than most Lagunitas beers. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Chef Chad (102), Grand Junction, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 1, 2009 This was not my favorite Lagunitas hop bomb but it was still good. Smells very hopped on the nose with some citrus and a weird oil smell. Pours a fire tan color with a nice white head. Good carbonation with a very smooth and crisp finish. Flavor was weird to me. It felt as if I was drinking hop oil??? I really wish I could explain it better since this is the first review of the beer. the flavor was not bad just taste fake for some reason.. Many of you are more qualified to detect what it is I was tasting. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2009 Updated: Aug 10, 2009A copper beer with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma kicks ass - lots of fruity, citrusy and floral hops, not hiding the cascade. The flavor is somewhat reserved - hops are still there, but not much of a malt background, and the finish isn’t as bitter as the hop smell would lead you to believe. Mouthfeel a tad thin. Good, refreshing hoppy summer beer but doesn’t stand up to proper DIPAs.
