They should keep doing that! This is great. I’d like to have gallons of it this summer! Really nice fresh hop character, bright citrusy grapefruit note. The malts are nice and toasty and provide a welcome bed for the crisp hopping. Easy finish. goldtwins (4083), Nesconset, New York, USA

Hop forward aroma with notes of citrus and pine. Hoppy citrus flavor with a semi-sweet malt base. Lots of hops. Semi-dry finish with a mild bitterness. Light body. I see a new summer beer. Aroma of hops, citrus, and pine. Taste of the same with more hops and malt. This medium bodied brew is another kick ass beer from Lagunitas. They make great beer at a great price. Great job. after4ever (2776), Brier, Washington, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2009 22. Wow! This thing is just a little mighty mite. Pours an absolute crystal clear light gold with a towering, fluffy, pocked platinum blonde head. Plenty of foamy lacing around the glass. Huge pine and peach hop bomb nose. Nice light watery body, a little bit of slightly fizzy carb, very crisp and refreshing body for sure. Everything about this beer is designed to be light, refreshing and drinkable; it’s even well-attenuated. Beautifully considered and executed. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2009 Pale golden beer. Fairly sweet nose with a light hoppy character. There is a touch of fresh piny resinousness. Lightly berryish fruit over a nice fresh lean pale malt base. Well-balanced, fresh, and pretty tasty. I like it. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 29, 2009 Pours a transparent orange copper with a well-lacing froth of off-white head. Aroma of fresh resiny grassy grapefruity hops along with a touch of toasty caramel malt. Starts with good fullness for the style and light malty sweetness well balanced with lots of assertive citrusy bittering and flavor hops before a crisp finish. A very enjoyable and drinkable IPA. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA

Pours clear bright copper with a scant white head. Medium to light body and medium carbonation. Sweet toffee, grapefruit and honey flavor with a crisp pine and grapefruit rind finish. Either this is the hoppiest APA on the planet or a very nicely crafted IPA. I’ll take what’s behind door number two, Monty. Zinister (1206), Houston, Texas, USA
