| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2009 Dry hopped I’m certain because there is a heavy, fresh, American hop aroma that grabs your attention. Floral with sticky pine and citrus. Pours a transparent light copper color with a small white head and good lacing. Bitter mouth feel, mild to lighter in body and rather dry. Flavor is nice and straight-forward with some biscuit malt flavor and a hearty dose of lemon, grapefruit and fresh cut flowers. I’d call this an American Pale Ale and a decent one at that. ratman197 (3240), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 26, 2009 I’m actually happy about this style - even before opening it - I love the label and I’m very happy that not EVERYONE is making stupid double IPAs! Nice crisp golden coloured body, completely hazy with a nice slightly off-white head. Aroma of strong fresh hops, a lot of malt, some yeast and a bit of pale sugar - very nice. Medium-bodied; Very strong and potent grassy and piney hops with a mellow malt backbone and a little bit of alcohol thrown in the mix. Aftertaste has a lot of hops, very nice! Strong and potent hops, with some good malt tastes and a very long lasting bitterness - perfect for the summer! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Alexandria (Old Town), Virginia on 21-May-2009, sampled two days later at home in Washington. GuilTTy (538), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2009 Canals in Lawrenceville comes through again. Bomber. Initially hazy mahogany pour that settles beneath a medium dusky tan head. Sweet and somewhat piney aroma. Flavors of toffee, milk chocolate, grapefruit, vanilla and light caramel. Silky texture and a predominantly malty finish with a bitter kick of hops enticing you into another sip. Yet another label of lunacy from the comic marketing geniuses at Lagunitas but this goofball label is wrapped around a really well-crafted beer. nuplastikk (1206), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 26, 2009 Updated: May 30, 200922oz bomber. Hazy orange-amber color, soapy head. Aroma is IIPA-like and hoppy, with a caramel edge. The taste is all out APA, with some bonus Amarillo, I’d presume, hop dosings. Quite excellent, capture that earthy, biscuity essence of the APA and tweaks it up a notch. Great balance. Top notch. Even better on tap, where I thought it’s body was even fuller. fredandboboflo (1417), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2009 Bottle. Aroma of big tropical fruit hops with rich, caramel malt, both toasted and juicy-sweet. Flavor again very tropical, maybe peachy, semi-resinous, with a continued rich malt presence, more toffee now, maybe a slight herbal presence coming from somewhere as well. Nice, better-than-solid stuff (which could easily be called an IPA). LilBeerDoctor (1508), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear light orange with a small white head. Aroma of resiny hops, citrus, banana, and grassy hops. Yum-o! Flavor is initially bitter, resiny hops with a sweet fruity and slightly malty finish. Very similar to Hop Stoopid in flavor profile from my recollection. Super tasty!

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 26, 2009 Bright clear coppery red with a bit of white head. Aroma is beautifully hoppy with tangerine notes. Taste is also tangerine with a bit of fruit punch. Very nicely carbonated, right up front, and it doesn’t overwhelm the palate. $4/22oz
