Very easy to drink, a present but not overpowering hop bite to it, and an overall tasty floral citrus character. excellent stuff. ghawener (965), San Salvador, El Salvador

| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 11, 2009 Brilliant orange, golden, with a 2 inch white head. Nice carbonation. Crystal malt and citrus hop aroma. Taste starts off sharp, and trickles down. The flavor is bursting with delicious hops, and a bittersweet malt finish. The consistency is smooth, and has a nice bite. It’s going to be hard to beat this one. trayns (242), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 24, 2009 Updated: May 25, 2009Bottle. Pours a golden amber with a medium white fluffy head. Aroma has citrus, honey, and hoppy aspects to it, Taste is where its at though with this one. It has a great Impy IPA sweet taste to it, but the character is ultimately drier than an IPA. It has a great hop balance, good malty backbone, and the palate of only a Pale Ale has got to be tops in the category. This is a big pale ale, and should be rated towards the top of the category.. .. A big surprise, very good to drink . . yesyouam (609), Fairport, New York, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Lagunitas 2009 Correction Ale is a clear, sparkling golden ale with a thick, dense, foamy, yellowish off white head with a smattering of big bubbles. It leaves excellent lacing. It has a huge fruity aroma that’s lightly sweet. There are notes of orange and pine. It smells fresh-- excellent! It has a soft, smooth medium body with a clean finish. It has a nice, strong, clean bitterness of citrus peel and pine resin. The malt is slightly sweet. It’s a bit top-heavy, which is great. It’s typical Lagunitas fare. I love it. malrubius (1004), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Golden with ring head. Unbelievable hoppy lemon pastry aroma. Melon sweet fruitiness with super dry awesome citrus hop flavor and medium bitterness. Nice crisp refreshing body and carbo. What an awesome surprise. Between this and Hop Stoopid, I’d say these guys are on the rise in the IPA world.
