Amber body with a thick white head. Aroma is hops, somewhat citrusy. Flavor is very hoppy up front with a little sweetness in the body. Strong on the hops but not overbalanced, fairly easy drinking for a DIPA.

Dec 14, 2009 Orangish golden pour with robust white head. Nose is intense PNW hops. Big sweet caramel malt base alongside the pine, grapefruit, and resinous attack. Very, very dry bitterness in the lingering finish. Alcohol pretty well hidden, until the lingering warming begins to seep upwards from the stomach. Very nicely brewed.

Dec 13, 2009 22oz bottle, purchased locally. Piney, citrusy nose with some tropical fruits and some wildflower honey. Light golden orange color with a persistent off-white, one fingered head. Resiny, piney flavor with some orange and tangerines. Some residual sweetness that tames the strong bitterness somewhat. There is a slight burn in the end but I am not sure if it is alcohol or bitterness or both. Overall this is an average IIPA, but enjoyable nevertheless. It is certainly nice to have several IIPA’s to choose from here in town when not too long ago there were hardly any.

Hazy light amber color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, citrusy hops and lemon peel. It has a good toffee flavor, with some residual sweetness, giving a creamy feeling; strong hopping, soft and citrusy resins; in the end the bitterness is aggressive, just a bit too much, and this lowers the score. Powerful, obvious Californian hoppy Ale, with a more original lemon profile, appreciated.

Dec 12, 2009 Golden orange color. Extremely hoppy and sweet aroma with minimal head. Spicy orange malty taste with strong bitter bite. Chewy and alcohol is well disguised.

Dec 10, 2009 Pours orange with a big white head. Nice lacing....left clumps on the side of the glass. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, light caramel. Flavor is big on grapefruit and pine, orange, some caramel malt, some sweetness, bitter resin finish. Has that Lagunitas taste to it. Mouthfeel is a little sticky, medium carbonation. Nice one overall.

Dec 10, 2009 Poured with about 1/2 inch head and copper color. First taste is sweet and fruity and than the bitter hops kick in (72.5 IBUs). This is very smooth . Very close in comparison to my favorite IPA from Smuttynose. If you like IPAs, this is a must have.

Dec 10, 2009 Whoa there very potent aromas of citrus and pine, quite powerful and thusly enjoyed. Body is a bit more nuanced, but still packs the flavor punch with some sugary malt dancing well with the citrus zested pine trees and dusty biscuit. Nice
