| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Bronze colored with light head and not a whisper of the advertised wheat essence through out. For all intents and purposes this is a standard, but solid west coast IPA. Chinook and citrusy hops fill the nose and translate similar to the flavor profile with pronounced Chinook bitterness on the finish. Slight off-tastes of sourness and soap, but mostly clean. On the downside, this lacks complexity--pretty much a one note brew. yespr (12174), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2009 On tap at Mickey Finns. Perfect on this hot day. Aroma of grapefuit, lemon and honey. approaching yellow, crystal clear. modest white head. Light & summery in the mouth. A bit of grapefruit rind joins the flavors, which adds dimension as the grapefruit tastes a little pinkish. Fairly clean finish. smcolw (350), Wayland, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Clear enough to read through the glass. Single finger head, but it relaxes slowly. The color is neutral amber.
Lots of classic pine needle hop aroma--like an IPA.
The flavor matches the aroma. Noteworthy alcohol feel and flavor. Lots of hop bite almost from the beginning. The body is rich and gives an element of rounded malt tastes. I don’t really note any wheat in this one, but it’s still a very good pale ale.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Bomber->tulip: Pours a huge, frothy, off-white head atop a murky orange body. Aroma of light malt, herbs, and citrus. The body is light and the texture is alcoholic, with some soft carbonation, all finishing astringently. Lightly sweet, acidic, and bitter. I like Lagunitas and this one, while not my favorite did not cease to impress--especially considering what most summer beers end up being. SudsMcDuff (1692), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Hopy aroma with notes of melon, peach, caramel and raspberry. Nice. Lovely flavour of bitter grassy hops with lots of fruit like peach, and mango. Nice and refreshing IPA. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Sampled as part of a sixer. A IPA that seems pretty similar to their normal IPA. Has a bit more of a wheaty taste but primarily just another IPA. Still, a really nice brew, traditional Lagunitas.
