Jul 10, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Thank you Ron for the hop stoopid and Imperial Stout. One of my favorite breweries. The sumpin sumpin was something else. Delicious a warm IPA, great balance, nice hoppiness with a good amount of malts.

Jul 9, 2009 bottle poured a light amber in color with a one finger white head that held a layer nicely. aroma has sweet grapefruit, citrus rind, pale malt, and light bitterness. nice and juicy. mouth feel coats well and there is plenty of carbonation. flavor has nice hop profile, citrus, grapefruit, pine, and resins. not over heavy on the sweetness and the malt level is done nicely allowing the hops to be highlighted.

Jul 9, 2009 12 oz. Bottle. Light, golden color. Caramel, maple syrup aroma. Great carbonation -- smooth, with just enough fizz at the end. This is a solid IPA, one I’ll definitely be drinking again

Jul 9, 2009 Draft at Redlight Redlight. Pours mostly clear, with just a very light haze. The dark golden hued body is crowned with a small, fleeting head of off-white foam. The nose is bright and juicy, with a big grapefruit and orange hop profile showing atop a malt base of light toffee and toasted white bread. Flavors follow suit, sweet toffee and pale biscuit malt balanced well by spicy orange peel and bitter grapefruit hops. Some pepper comes through on the finish. Medium bodied, dry, and moderately carbonated, the palate fits well. Another good hoppy brew from Lagunitas.

Jul 9, 2009 Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine, melon and grapefruit rind. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine and grapefruit rind with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Jul 9, 2009 Nice golden color with a average sized white head. Tons of citrus flavors and floral hops on the nose! Slightly grassy. Flavor is similar with a little bit of malty backbone peeking through. Extremely smooth and refreshing - a perfect little sumpin’ sumpin’ for a hot summer afternoon.

Jul 9, 2009 Quite decent in IPA land. Huge orange nose and a load of citrus through the body (less pine than many IPAs). Very strong finish, building uncomfortably for me but still decent. A sweet edge makes it appealing in a DIPA kind of way. Drinkable.
