The aroma is astounding - an overflowing basket of apricots and grapefruit that got stuck in your nostrils. It is soft and seductive, makes you want to keep sniffing until your lungs explode. The taste is equally delicious - all fruity and bitter hops. This is basically an all around AWESOME IPA that I would be happy to drink for the rest of my life. IndianaRed (1559), Boise, Idaho, USA

Clear light orange amber with a nice thick sandy head. Exquisite citrusy hop aroma. this to me is the definition of west coast hoppiness. Simply devine. Flavor is also very nice. Classic hoppiness with out some of the iIBU "baggage" that throws me off sometimes when overdone.
Modest lingering bitterness. Pretty light malt backbone. This is a HOPS "vehicle’

Aroma of sweet caramel, citrus hops all over this thing. Tast lots of sweetness tons of citrus hops. Very nice. Thick malt and more of the great hops. For the price this brew has to be one of the best. TheEpeeist (1468), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 5, 2009 This isn’t really beer. It is, in fact, carbonated grapefruit juice. I have confirmed this with the brewery. It smells like grapefruit juice, tastes like grapefruit juice and best of all? You can chug it. In all seriousness, this stuff is really really good. I really don’t love Grapefruit juice, but I do love me some sumpin’ sumpin’. Lagunitas could very well be my favorite brewer. blipp (1685), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Draft at Coles in Buffalo. Pours bright orange with a thin head. Huge sweet grapefruit and orange citrus hop aroma. The flavor isn’t quite as impressive as the aroma, and I actually found it to be surprisingly well balanced. A quasi hop bomb that doesn’t come across as too intense in its bitterness. Notes of grapefruits and other citrus fruits, and a hint of pine. The finish is on the short side. Very good. stchloe (492), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Very very interesting, started and looked like a nice pale ale, but then it was just a little bitter at the end, and malty throughout. Whoo at what buzz, it is a little sumpin for for a good night.
