My first thought is that it’s light bodied and very easy to drink, but it’s also got a very nice lemony citrus hop and a light grapefruit peel zing at the finish. Very smooth, I would have never guessed it to be 7.3%, I ordered a 2nd pint.... This is a perfect summer IPA. (July 1 - now in bottles at 101, going to buy a bunch of it!) | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jul 1, 2009 A beautiful beer colored like iridescent gold amber. A decent head relaxes swiftly leaving behind a lacy ring. Strong aromas of citrus. I have to say this really is a smooth IPA with a creamy texture. It just rolls off my tongue. Big citrus rind impact with a balanced malt backbone. The finish is ling and lingering. This is juicy and downright delicious. SSSteve (2068), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 30, 2009 hazy orange with a small white head. very pleasant aroma of orange, lychee, grapefruit. i could smell this all day. tastes exactly the way it smells. a light refreshing palate that is in NO way astringent with the abv and hop addition considered. a bit of lemon-lime in there too. lagunitas is really starting to perfect the art of the hop(with all the hopped up beers released they ought to be!). this is one of the best ipa’s i’ve had in a long time. excellent. tokyogoat (509), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2009 Poured a nice golden with an orange tint.
Nose is huge on citrus hops, grapefruit, tangerine, lime zest.
Taste is very crisp, bright grefruit and orange flavors. Wheat adds some nice body to keep bitterness from just washing out. hopdog (5576), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of juicy oranges, pine and floral hops. Tastes of citrus, floral hoppiness, some toasted graininess, and a lighter sweet caramel in the finish. joshwilfong (781), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2009 Incredibly drinkable, especially on tap. Big hops coming through in both aroma and flavor with a nice maltiness to it. More hop then wheat, but the wheat certainly doesnt keep quiet. fakepurseninja (782), Washington, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 30, 2009 Nice light amber orange body with a soft white head. Big malty giant vertebrae that lines the mouth with light grainy caramel malt character. Citrus and light sweet fruit very evident in the floral hop lineup. Pine and grass. Always a big event when I get a new Laggy to try.
