Jun 23, 2009 12 oz bottle from Bevmo, Salinas. Nice and hoppy with a nose of pine and ivy with a touch of background caramel. Amber-orange with a medium off white head. Flavor is pure moderate bitterness lasting a long time. Excellent new IPA!

Jun 23, 2009 Nice amber with a off white head. Aroma is fresh hops, citrus, light caramel. Taste is a nice fresh hop taste, with a more modest bitterness which comes across nice, light caramel, faint alcohol.

Jun 23, 2009 Bottle. Mostly clear slightly dark straw color with a tight white head. Citric hoppiness that is very much reminds me of fresh cut navel oranges. The taste is sweeter than most Lagunitas IPAs, but still has a slightly peppery finish. Not a bad session IPA.

Jun 23, 2009 12oz bottle from BevMo. Pours a mostly clear deep golden color with a fluffy 2 finger thick off white head that left some great lacing. Lots of lemon and grapefruit as well as grass, resin and slightly sweet malts on the nose. Flavor is very citrusy and bright. Finishes with good hop bitterness, light-medium in body.

Jun 23, 2009 On tap at Stone. Orange in the glass with a thick head and lace. Creamy and sweet hoppiness on the nose. Taste is caramel and fruity sweet that gets usurped by hops. Interesting mix of flavors and/or styles.

Jun 22, 2009 12oz bottle. I have issues with this beer. On the one hand, it has some good lemon and tangerine flavors going on, with a great balance of malt and bitterness. On the other hand, there is this hop character that it shares with hop stupid that just seems processed and bland. It is very drinkable stuff, with a great fruity touch, but there is just something about that Lagunitas house flavor that always hits me a little strangely. The verdict is out; I need more. The bitterness is restrained, yet it cleans up the finish perfectly. I feel like the brewers nailed this beer, but I just don’t know if I like what they were going for in the beginning. But it is somewhat delicious. How about that.

Jun 22, 2009 This was damn delicious and downed so quickly I’m rating after it’s already been drank! Yeah, it carried a bit of summer lightness but this had plenty of substance and went down like smooth creamy butter. I would most definitely have this again, quite enjoyable. Hoppy, a little fruity, drinkable as fuck. [:14]
