Aug 10, 2009 Clean golden amber pour with a thin white head. Full nose of grassy and floral hops. Same in the flavor although a bit more subtle. Dry finish.

Aug 5, 2009 12 oz bottle from Oak Tree. Pours a clear amber/orange body with an average to small sized mostly white foamy head that leaves some lace but nothing to bump up the score. The aroma is like someone dropped a shot of pineaplejuice into a fruit cocktail and then forgot that there was an open beer in the vicinity to meld the fruity aromas with some slight malty beery ones. Body is very very thin with average carbonation. Flavor is fruity, lots of pineapple..peach..tangerine to name a few, slight hoppy grassy notes as well. This beer is best sipped on a very hot day outside and it will be far more appreciated then some lingering contemplation like this is a barrel aged Impy. Solid IPA despite it’s thin body though.

Aug 1, 2009 Twist off cap 12 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper with hints of orange and red, gave a white head two fingers or more high, effervescent, leaves lacing on the glass, aromas of hops - light fruit – lemon and grapefruit citrus, some peach, faint pine needles, malt sweetness, flavors of hop bitterness, malt sweetness, orange and grapefruit, finish has the hops bitterness trailing, mouth feel is nice, a nice IPA.

Jul 29, 2009 (Bottled) Slightly hazy amber with a small but lasting head. Nice, orange-peachy-citrus-hoppy aroma with sweetish maltiness in the background. Flavor of sweetish, peachy malt with some wheaty smoothness. Also packs a punch of aromatic hops. Medium body, soft carbonation. A smootth and quite enjoyable summer ale.

I WISH I HAD IT ON TAP AT THE CRIB
