Sweet strong and heavy body. Nice little head. Amber copper coler, strong aroma of malts, hops and sugar. Nice and balanced but strong.

Draft. Medium brown body, mild hops and brown sugar in the nose. Mild bitterness, brown sugar dominates the flavor, some hoppiness, sort of weak flavors for a 10% beer.

From a 12-oz bottle--Poured a tawny brown body with a slim white-beige head. Nose of brown sugar (duh!), boozy alcohol and fruity malts. Crisp, carbonated mouth feel. Sharp booze accents the sweet bitter flavor. Finished a little hot. Easy to believe the high 9.9% ABV.

Aroma is oddly hoppy with sour fruit tones. Color is a very foggy orange/brown with good carbonation and a very thin head. Taste is sweet and fruity. It starts with a medium body that goes down crisp. Finish is a mild sweet taste that seems to have a bit like pear to it then a citric hop flavor and ends with a faint bitterness. In the after taste there is a slight sour tone as the bitterness grows. Its interesting and complex but its not a Barley Wine. Overall as a Barley Wine its poor but if its just there Winter brew its good.

Pours very clear orangey brown with a dirty off white head. A decent amount of lace left behind.
I smell oranges, grapefruit, and pine air freshener.
Pretty mild flavor. Hop forward, but not the whole story. Plenty of carmely sweetness to go on with the pine and citrus.
Medium/light body. Oily and resinous. Left my lips kind of sticky. High carbonation. Fairly dry finish.
I was pretty pumped up to try this beer. It didn’t quite like up to what I was looking for, but they don’t most of the time. Still really good.

This is cool. A very strange overripe pear flavor, and an aftertaste that’s definitely spot-on brown sugar. The beer itself floats through stages of brown, barleywine and stout.

Love the label on this bomber. It pours out a murky pale orange to dirty brown with tan head. It does become clear with time. Nice barleywine smell with dark fruits, brown sugar, caramelization, pale malts and molasses. The flavor is sweet and sugary with essentially all that was noticed in the nose. I get plums, dates and candied peaches. These mix with malty caramelization, brown sugar and molasses. Very tasty but with out food accompaniment the sweetness does build up as the ounces are consumed.

Bottle. Pour is a beautiful, coppery brown color with a two finger head that is somewhere between tan and off-white. Aromas are decidedly sweet and have a bit of a piney hops lingering in the background. Brown sugar sweetness mixes with some toffee flavors that dominate the front end of the flavor spectrum, only to give way to a generous dose of piney hops that drive you down the homestretch. Well done brew, but not going to be one of my staples any time soon.
