Feb 22, 2008 22oz bottle- pours dark brown with a coffee aroma. Coffee, with some chocolate notes in the flavor.Medium bodied. Not terribly complex but still a good brew overall.

Feb 21, 2008 650ml brown bottle. Dark brown pour, holds a large tan head. Aroma is choclatey coffee with American hops behind. Flavour is roasty malt, coffee, dark chocolate and hops. Bitter finish, lots of roast malt and citrus hop. Creamy body, soft carboantion. Nice strong stout that hides it’s strength well.

Feb 18, 2008 Courtesy of Dragonstout. Pours a dark brown with a off white head. Aroma is mostly coffee. Tastes of coffee, cocoa, sweet malt, a little lactose taste. Finishes thinner than expected, with a strong coffee taste.

Feb 17, 2008 Bomber...Poured a deep brown w/ very little carbonation and creamy light brown head. Good lacing...Very strong coffee aroma w/ a hint of chocolate. Tasted some bitter dark chocolate, espresso, and cocoa. Moderately bitter palate w/ a lasting finish.

Feb 17, 2008 From beer : Pours dark brown, a little light passes through, with a finger of offwhite foamy head, big lacing. Pretty hoppy smell with some malt in the back. Also some coffee and expresso scents as well. A hoppy coffee taste, finishing with some coffee bean aftertaste. Medium body with a smooth feel.

Feb 17, 2008 Bottle: Deep black/red color with a thick and frothy, but relatively thin top. The aroma is just like the chocolate-covered espresso beans I enjoy so much. To drink this is to kick yourself in the pants, thick with robust roasted malts, ashy milkiness, cocoa, bitter baking chocolate. This could be my new morning wakeup call and would go great with Belgian waffles. (#3326, 2/17/2008)

Feb 15, 2008 On tap @ SD Brewing Co: So, normally, I don’t care for these Coffee stouts, but holy crap, this was tasty. Lots and lots of coffee in the nose, and as expected, the flavor is a rush of espresso. There is alot of body in this one, which is not the case in other coffee stouts like Beer Geek. Very good.
