650 ml bottle from Bevmo. This is the winter 2007 release. Pours an opaque black color with a small tan head. Aroma was light for a strong stout and featured sweet roasted malts, dark fruits such as raisins, dates and plums, and just a hint of strong black coffee. The flavor has an earthy quality with plenty of coffee and espresso as well the dark fruits and some cedar. The mouthfeel was very full, creamy and chewyvery satisfying. The finish was long and featured biter hops, walnuts and espresso. Overall: I am highly impressed with this ale, there was plenty of complexity, plenty of malts and plenty of hops. A steal at 2.99 a bomber bottle. Recommended.

Pours a deep chocolate brown with foamy cream colored head. Nose is bready and malty, and the flavor is the same with a coffee ground influence. Just ok for me.

bomber. not quite what I expected after reading the name of this beer - but was happy with the results. there is more fruit in here than coffee, in my opinion. I get a strong aroma and flavor of plum. The plum and slight citrus notes dominate the overall flavor of this stout. There is a bit of coffee to it, but not as much as I expected. Overall, this is a very good stout that I would definitely buy again. If you want to try it, get it now as it is only available in the winter months.... and the price is right @ $3 / bomber.

Not as big of a nose as some stouts, but the smooth taste makes up for it. Nice easy drinkable stout, with just about the right amount of everything. Nothing overpowers or outstands like some others, which could be a good thing to get away from. A little watery palate but thats probably the Cappuccino flavor coming through. Decently priced as well. Thanks BillVanE

Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Had a nice coffee aroma. Flavor was not as great. Coffee but with odd funky fruits and spoiled cream. Finished nice, thick like you’d expect. Enjoyable but something seemed off. Thanks to Bockyhorsey for this one!

Dark brown pour with nice brown head with big roasted coffee bean. Flavor is much the same, with a hint of dried fruit. Body is medium with a good tangy finish. Was suprised to see the higher alcohol. Never really got the warmth of an 8%.

Bottle. Pours dark brown/black, medium light brown head the dissipates to thin. Aroma is coffee, molasses, toffee. Taste is coffee, some smoke and a little bit of plum like fruit. Finish is bitter and coffee, medium body. Bitterness lingers for a while. Decent, but not great.

Pours a deep brown, borderline black color. Aroma is as the name would suggest, coffee. The coffee while evident, is well balanced and not over powering in any way. There is a nice roasted grain aroma, with a hint of smokiness wafting upwards at the end. The flavor is not as aggressive as I anticipated, but is a bit on the sweet side, with a dark fruit flavor (which I finf odd) coming through on the finish. Pretty decent, though not spectacular.
