I will follow the 22 with ease!! Nice..... LtDan (537), Los Angeles County, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Appearance: Pours a dark reddish brown with a thin fizzy head.
Aroma: Dry cocoa and coffee.
Taste: Coffee and bittersweet chocolate at first, then roasted malt and hop spice.
Mouthfeel: Thin and fizzy.
Overall: It is a very nice dry strong stout. If you are expecting an Imperial Stout like profile, you will be dissapointed, if you love a hearty coffee porter with a high ABV, this beer will knock your socks off. hophead21112 (124), Louisville (LEWISville), Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Dark, dark brown/red pour with tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, some earthiness, and a bit of caramel. Flavors of coffee and light chocolate... not much else there. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body and carbonation, minimal alcohol warmth. 9% ABV is well hidden. A decent beer. Toxygen (396), Sanford, Florida, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Very dark, blackish brown color but with a red tint as so may of these have. The aroma smells delicious and I don’t even drink coffee. Its just a sweet, milky and sugary coffee smell. The flavor is like a very strong coffee but with some carbonatin. It bears little semblance to beer. Think carbonated frapp! Puck! Ino! Some lacing. Coffee aftertaste. Comes on strong. philbertk (145), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Draft at redlight redlight. Pours very dark, almost opaque with a tan head. The nose isn’t bad with lots of notes of coffee, some milk sugars, and roasted malts. Something in the flavor is not quite balanced. The roasted malts come forward but don’t line up right with coffee, etc. Furthermore, it definitely stand to be a little thicker/creamier. Not my favorite from Lagunitas of whom I’m usually a big fan. acblue (66), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Deep brown/black pour, thick off-white head. Aroma is coffee and malt. Strong coffee at the front, nice creamy finish. Another not-amazing-but-damned-solid Lagunitas offering.
