| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a very small white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a sweet fruit malt with raisin and floral notes. The taste is a rich caramel malt with dark fruit and a dry finish. A good American Strong Ale from Lagunitas. Kronik for my 420th rating. kidrobot (63), Sparta, New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 13, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin head, with nice lacing, over a coppery, slightly orange body.....nose of malts, bit of hops with a strong canned tomato over tone.....taste is very similar with early caramelly malts, accompanied by balancing hops grapefruit tones, and then there is canned tomato juice....mouth feel is toward the light side of medium. Do tomato and grapefruit go together?? minch25 (368), Columbus, Ohio, USA
