Commercial Description:
This ale contains no actual copper but we're pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots'a nice caramel malt though... Alcohol 5.9% by volume

Bottle. Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel with hints of fruit. Flavor is a nice balance of caramel malt and grassy hops. Nice.

Copper with small head. Tastes kind of metallic and sweet. Quite malty at first, but slowly turns to nice smooth hops on the finish. Quite a solid beer.

Amber/copper color with minimal white head. This is a good session beer that has malty mouthfeel. This beer is crisp and refreshing while still packing a lot of flavor. Goes down easy and tastes like a near 6% beer should. Different and good but not necesarily Kronik!!!!

(Bottle, Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 26 July 2008) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with caramel, orange and apricots. Fruity taste with notes of orange, mandarin and a decent dash of citrussy hops in the finish. Nice one.

kind of surprised by the abv, does have a slight metallic/coppery taste, but overall very malty, rich, enjoyable, in a bottle

Ruby copper color (maybe, it was dark, I was tipsy and it was outside). Aroma was malt-dominated sweetness. Some bitterness in the taste, not as sweet as anticipated. Good, drinkable...nothing spectacular. Like a tamed down Lucky 13.

Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced a clear, copper body, topped by a small, quickly diminishing head of off-white foam. Aroma was somewhat hoppy with a bit of funkiness. Initial taste proved to be bitter and medium bodied. The bitterness continued throughout the tasting and had a dry finish. Hops is evident, along with a smoky malt note here and there. Perhaps I had a bad bottle or something, as it seemed like this beer had gone South.
