Commercial Description:
This ale contains no actual copper but we're pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots'a nice caramel malt though... Alcohol 5.9% by volume

Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Charlottesville. It is indeed copper, with a medium head and great head retention. Very malty aroma with notes of grain and nuttiness. Big malt in the taste with some bitter notes that balance it fairly well.

On Tap, Taco Mac- ATL Very nice Ale, nothing overly special about this though, imho. I enjoyed the IPA and thought I would give this a try. Next time, I’ll stick with the IPA.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom in Delray Beach. This is a unique beer and better than most American beers brewed in large quantities. Nose is very mild but the flavor hits you like a malt bomb. Smooth and flavorful Very nice.

On tap the blind tiger. Poured a mahogany brown, with a thin fizzy head. Nose was very mild, some belgian notes. Flavor is pretty mild with a slight hop taste. Finish was on the sweet side. Not bad, but very mild, maybe too mild to be a strong ale?

Copper, amber color with off-white head that produced decent lacing. Caramel sweet aroma with initial hop bite at the first sip. Well balanced with hop flavor coming through later. Nice American amber. On tap at The Shep.

Nice color with thinning head and prominant caramel and toasted malts. Not remarkable, but presents a nice drinkability.

Not a big fan of this beer. Tasted like chewing on a copper bowl. Im a fan of the copper flavor, but this was over done I believe.

This comes out of the tap a clear coppery brown that is rather appetizing. Aroma is of average strength, and mainly hoppy with a little malty scent. Flavor is strongly hoppy and has some malty taste. Texture is smooth. Not complex, but satisfying and pleasant.
