A small head that fades very quickly. A malty sugar like aroma and taste on the tongue at first. I am not pulling too much carmel out of it as they suggest. I guess it is ’censored’ here as well and that is why I post this here. Slightly bitter but very smooth and slightly creamy. A good red ale but not the best. webjedi (249), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 11, 2008 This, I guess, is also the Kronic, however, it’s being sold here in the East as "Lagunitas Censored Rich Copper Ale". It’s a perfect copper color, medium head, toward a while cream with medium bubbles. Medium hop coverage, while having a nice smooth (slightly sweet) malt. Pretyt pleasant, and wouldn’t mind seeing this on tap somewhere. Nice bite on the sides on your tongue. A little creamy, kind of like your standard pub ale, on the tongue. Rich and full of malted sweetness, this beer has a lot of character, and a decent head in every pour. Pours a bright copper colour, with aromas of caramel, honey and almonds. fairly tastey. ditmier (1091), Boise, Idaho, USA
