May 3, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy ruby/copper color with a wispy white head. Aroma is sweet and full, with a strong malty scent along with hints of caramel and syrupy hops. Taste is medium-bodied, with an initial flavor of malt and honey leading into a dry and pleasantly bitter finish of hops and warming alcohol. A well-balanced amber made for summertime.

May 3, 2008 Yep, copper pour. Creamy malty nose, same on the palate. Good hops, slight taste of strawberry seeds. Slight metallic bite to it. Tasted like a solid amber to me.

May 2, 2008 It looks coppery indeed. Honey, rubber, and molasses aroma. Nice malty taste, with an alcohol warmth and a bitter finish. Would’ve been nicer with an orange slice garnish, but I’m not complaining.

May 1, 2008 12oz bottle: pours dark amber browm with minimal off white head. aroma malty with sharp notes of spice and some hops. flavor is pretty weak, almost watery has some of the sharp strong ale bite but not much along with a slight woody flavor. decent beer wouldnt get again.

Apr 30, 2008 Bottle. Clear copper body with a thick, frothy head that recedes quickly. Aroma of fruity pebbles, caramel, brown sugar and nuts. Hint of floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter leaving tastes of nuts and grain. The long-lasting finish is moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation make for a clean mouthfeel. This made a better first impression than a lasting one. Still tasty enough.

Apr 29, 2008 Clear ruby body with a thin tan head. Sweet smell, almost strawberrish. Warm caramel taste with a long lasting aftertaste, bitterness from alcohol. A very tasty copper ale.

Apr 27, 2008 Poured a rich copper with a thick pale head, good retention that clung nicely to the glass.
Smelled mostly of hops and caramel malts.
A little creamy in the mouth with a light hoppy taste, great taste.
A well balanced ale, goes down smooth; very drinkable.
